Explosion During Maulud Celebration in Kaduna Sparks Concerns Over Casualties

In a tragic incident reported by Daily Trust, an explosion disrupted the Mauludi celebration in Tudun Biri village, Igabi local government, Kaduna state. Preliminary reports indicate that a Nigerian Air Force plane allegedly bombed the gathering, resulting in numerous casualties.

Although specific details remain unclear, it is reported that around 30 individuals lost their lives during the incident, which occurred around 9 pm. Witnesses in the village claim that the plane targeted the assembly of Mauludi celebrants, marking the birth of the revered figure, the messenger of salvation, 'PBUH.'

There are concerns that the death toll may increase in the following days. Samuel Aruwan, overseeing the Ministry of Internal Security in Kaduna state, announced that the government plans to conduct a press conference to address the incident in the near future.
